What is a Crypto Stock?
A Crypto Stock is an ERC20 token that represents the value of the shares of major companies traded on the stock exchange. Its price depends on (but may not be identical to) the stock’s price on the financial market. Crypto Stocks were created and issued by the Crypto Stock Foundation.
How do I sign up to AnyCryptoStock?
It’s easy! Simply click on “Create Account”, choose a username, a password and take note of the 12-word seed. Your account will become active immediately. Be sure not to lose your credentials. AnyCryptoStock does not store your information and will not be able to help you get back into your account if you lose access.
How do I buy Crypto Stocks?
After creating an account, you need to go to Balance and deposit Bitcoin or Ethereum. With BTC or ETH you will be able to buy USxD, the stablecoin pegged to the US dollar, which is required to trade Crypto Stocks. Once you have USxD you can start trading Crypto Stocks.
Do I have to purchase entire Crypto Stocks?
No! Just like cryptocurrencies, Crypto Stocks allow fractional buying. This means you can buy even a small part.
EXAMPLE: an Alphabet Crypto Stock (xGOOG) has a value of ~1,700 USxD. You can invest only 17 USxD and buy 0.01 xGOOG.
What is USxD? What is it for?
USxD is a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar issued by the Crypto Stock Foundation for the purpose of trading Crypto Stocks. Its value is equal to the US dollar, so 1 USxD = 1 USD. Each Crypto Stock paired with USxD. As such, in order to trade Crypto Stocks, you need USxD.
Where do I buy USxD?
On AnyCryptoStock it is possible to convert Bitcoin or Ethereum into USxD.
Is there a minimum deposit to start trading with?
Yes. The minimum deposit required is 0.01 BTC or 0.05 ETH. Be careful not to deposit an amount below this threshold as it will be lost, not credited and cannot be refunded.
Can I transfer my Crypto Stocks or USxD to my personal wallet?
Sure! As long as you have a wallet that supports the ERC20 standard. You can perform the withdrawal operation from the Balance section.
Can I convert USxD back to Bitcoin or Ethereum?
Of course! You can convert USxD to Bitcoin and Ethereum at any time and if necessary withdraw your funds back to your personal wallet.
I lost my password/seed, how do I get back into my account?
AnyCryptoStock does not store your personal information, nor your credentials. If you lose your username, password or seed we are unable to help you.
Is AnyCryptoStock secure?
AnyCryptoStock, being a decentralized exchange, does not store your data or funds. This is what makes it secure, as opposed to centralized platforms. What you see in your balance is what is stored in the wallet linked to your account, to which no one at AnyCryptoStock has access.
